Josie Borchardt

Josie Borchardt is a Customer Service Specialist at Deer Creek Seed since 2021. She brings several years of customer service experience over a diverse range of fields to the company, as well as design and illustration experience.

Josie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020 with a degree in Art. Her love for culture and history also bridges into the field of agriculture and horticulture. An avid gardener and craftsperson, Josie uses her quaint background in horticulture to bring the best of our company's products and resources to our Deer Creek Seed customers.

Josie's favorite products are the wildflower mixes and native grasses. She is an active advocate for the conservation and restoration of native ecosystems, particularly in the Midwest.

Outside of work, Josie spends her time engrossed in many hobbies, including printmaking, sewing, and illustration. She enjoys camping, hiking, and kayaking, and can usually be found relaxing in a hammock or digging in her garden when the weather is nice. Josie also enjoys fawning over her cat, Pepper.
