Purple Top Turnips are an easy to grow, short-season brassica specie. This duel-purpose plant produces both leafy foliage for grazing and large spherical roots that deer will dig for throughout the late fall and winter months. Providing a source of both high protein and high energy, make turnips one of the best food plot plants.

How to Plant

 Turnips can be installed with drill, no-till drill, hand seeder or broadcast  spreader. Seeds need to be covered with soil and pressed or packed to  ensure seed to soil contact. See 'How To' tab for more details.
