AlfaStar II Alfalfa
AlfaStar II is a quick recovery alfalfa showing a very high multi-foliate, upright growth habit with a high leaf-stem ratio. This showy alfalfa offers excellent winterhardiness, exceptional yield potential and high persistence in one package. This is truly an elite variety that offers a 29 DRI rating along with ratings of 2.3 for winter hardiness and 4.0 for fall dormancy. AlfaStar II is best utilized in a four or five cut system where quick re-growth, quality, tonnage, persistence and a long-lived stand are desired.
