A Certified Crop Advisor, Tim Bauer studied Mechanized Agriculture and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Plants & Soils from the University of Minnesota. Currently Deer Creek Seed’s VP of Dealer Development, Tim has been with Deer Creek since 1998. Dan Biddick
Dan Biddick grew up in a Wisconsin family-owned seed business, where he participated in all aspects of the seed industry—production, marketing, sales, purchasing, inventory control, customer service. Dan has a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling from UW-Platteville and is a current board member of the Wisconsin Turfgrass Association. "I’m fortunate to have a great occupation,” he says. “I sell the best seed in the world to the best people in the world—my customers. W. H. (Bill) Leakey
W. H. (Bill) Leakey is founder and president of Deer Creek Seed. He started his career in the seed trade as a grower of birdsfoot trefoil. In 1980, he co-founded Deer Creek Seed as a primary producer of wholesale seed. Bill has extensive experience in seed production, varietal development and sales to the domestic and international seed trade. He is the driving force behind the company’s growth and is particularly passionate about helping talented people become Master Seedsmen. Bill is a long-standing board member of the Wisconsin Crop Improvement Association, the seed-certifying agency for the State of Wisconsin. He’s also an active member of various divisions of the American Seed Trade Association. He is a lifelong bow and gun deer hunter, and has particular enthusiasm for ducks. He can be found most weekends of the duck season contemplating the seed business while entrenched in his duck shack with his 85-years-young father and the wonder dog Ted.
